Theoretical Dog Training Course Kt. Zürich

Attend our Theoretical Dog Training Course and learn the fundamental principles of dog ownership. We supplement the canton’s official presentation with clear example images and videos. It is also very important to us that we can answer all your questions. Therefore, our course consists of two 90-minute sessions.

Theoretical dog training course must be completed by everyone having a dog for the first time, and by anyone who resumes dog ownership after a break of ten years. It will take last at least two hours and concludes with an exam.

We offer the theoretical dog training course as an online course with an on-site examination. It consists of two 90-minute online lessons and an online exam.

Both lessons and the exam are held online via Zoom (video call). The actual exam time is 30 minutes. The learning objectives, course content, and exam questions are all based on the Canton of Zurich Veterinary Office’s official guidelines.

A course certificate is issued only to those who pass the exam. If the exam is failed, participants must either repeat the entire course or sit the exam again at the next course date. In both cases, full fees apply.
