Basic Training – May

The basic practical dog training applies to all dogs that are newly acquired or newly relocated to the canton of Zurich and are younger than ten years old. It must begin no earlier than after the dog’s sixth month of life and must be completed no later than twelve months after taking possession of the dog. It applies uniformly to all dogs and, according to the Veterinary Office, must consist of at least 6 lessons, each lasting one hour. The learning objectives have been set by the Veterinary Office of the canton of Zurich, are shown in the confirmation, and serve as learning success control (cf. § 13 of the Dog Ordinance of the canton of Zurich).

The practical dog training consists of 6 group lessons of 60 minutes each. It is a mixed group of different dogs of various ages. Our courses are kept small, with a maximum of 6 human-dog teams.

The lessons build upon each other; therefore, the course can only be booked as a whole. Missed lessons cannot be made up in advance or afterward. To successfully complete the course, all lessons must be attended. Missed lessons must be made up as an individual coaching. We refer to our general terms and conditions.
